He served as medical Superintendent ,Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences, Ranchi (RIMS) till 2022, Dean-RIMS till 2022, Dean (Faculty. of Medicine) Ranchi University till 2022 and H.O.D (Community Medicine ), RIMS till 2022. He has organized several international and national conferences and published more than 30 papers in Medical Science.

Dr. Pandey Ravi Bhushan Prasad, Professor of Pathology at Hazaribagh Medical College is a legendary medical faculty with vast and varied experiences in this field and has privilege of serving most of the Medical Colleges of Jharkhand in one important capacity or another and was appreciated by all fellow colleagues and staffs. He had devoted over two decades to the upliftment of Medical Education Scenario of Jharkhand State.
